Almost 4,2 thousands people became the victims of the flu A/H1N1 – Rospotrebnadzor
The quantity of people diseased by the flu A/H1N1 in the world has exceeded 308 thousand people, and the number of fatal lethal outcomes from it comes nearer to 4,2 thousand cases, press-service of Rospotrebnadzor informs referring to the data of regional bureaus of the World Health Organization (WHO).
By September, 22nd, 2009 taking into account the data of regional bureaus the WHO, total of laboratory confirmed cases of people diseases caused by a virus A(H1N1) - 2009 in the world, makes 308,660 thousand, including 4,165 thousand cases with a fatal outcome" - is told in the press release published on an official site of department on Tuesday.
From the moment of monitoring introduction (since April, 30th 2009) for arriving in the Russian Federation from the unfavorable countries on "a pork" flu it is revealed 1,085 thousand persons with ARD signs, all the people have received necessary medical aid and have been laboratory examined, 950 persons have been hospitalized, mark in department.
Rospotrebnadzor informs that for the last days on carrying out of the sanitary-quarantine control at the airports persons with signs of infectious diseases are not revealed.
According to the official figures for September, 21st, in Russia 381 case of a new flu is fixed. Still among the diseased the persons who have come back after rest or studies from abroad prevail. The unique supposedly fatal case of a "pork" flu, under the statement of Rospotrebnadzor and Minzdravsotsrazvitije, has not proved to be true.
