Grippol
Description
The vaccine is a colourless transparent liquid without extraneous impurity and inclusions.
Composition and pharmaceutical form
Grippol solution for intramuscular and hypodermic injection in ampoules on 0.5 ml (1 dose) on 1, 5 or 10 pieces in packing; in syringes on 0.5 ml (1 dose) on 1, 5 or 10 pieces in packing.
1 dose (0.5 ml) of Grippol vaccine contains: 5 mcg of hemagglutinin each of three actual cultures of the flu viruses of A-type (H1N1 and H3N2) and B-type, polyoxidonium 500 mcg; Merthiolate preservative.
Indications
Active preventive flu immunization at children from 6 monthly age, teenagers and adults without age restriction.
Contraindications
- Acute feverish conditions;
- Acute infectious and noninfectious diseases;
- Chronic diseases in an aggravation stage (in stage of remission they vaccinated not earlier in a month after recovery);
- Allergic reactions to previous inoculations by Grippol and hen's egg-white.
Directions for use
Vaccine is injected intramuscularly or deeply hypodermically into the top third of external surface of a shoulder (in a deltoid muscle), to children of younger age in an anteroexternal surface of a hip.
Side effects
There are basically no local and general reactions to vaccine introduction. Very rarely there are
reactions in the form of morbidity, a hypostasis and skin reddening in an introduction place.

Storage conditions
To store and transport at temperature from 2 ° to 8°С. The frozen drug is not subject to application. Transportation is possible at temperature to 25°С during 6 hours. To store in a dry, protected from light and inaccessible to children place.
